Hello, I've about given up but.... My main email client is GMail and I have AVG's Email Protection setup perfectly. However, I'm trying to co-ordinate my Outlook.com Email with AVG. I'm down to the fact that Outlook is not working with the default AVG Server Settings (i.e. the settings for neither recommended Gmail Server settings within AVG POP/5300 SMTP/5400) nor any of the numbers around it! If you've run into ( or figured out <G>) a fix I'd love to know it! Many thanks in advance... Mark

How is this related to Thunderbird?

Hi christ1, I am posting it here in the hopes that a fellow Thunderbird user (and a fellow AVG Email Protection user) has encountered this dilemma of setting up additional, and specifically the newer outlook.com email, into Thunderbird and has discovered an answer to my problem. Mark

This is an issue you need to raise with AVG. Personally I would just turn off email scanning. It is more trouble than it is worth anyway.
