Ok , Welcome Back. It is pointless in your post as I said before we are Volunteers helping in Support and are not in Development ...... That being said again you did choose a Solution on your previous Issue with much the same title. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1179242

So what is it in Support that I can help you with ? Are you having issues with Firefox (besides the box missing) ?

Fyi: If you continue with these demands you will be flagged and banned.

So since you do not have a Issue to report please mark this as solved and find another way to get what you want. Regards

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Here is how you can change that setting:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

I suggest bookmarking this page.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste access and pause while the list is filtered

(3a) TO TURN OFF: If the accessibility.blockautorefresh preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to true, double-click it to restore the default value of false

(3b) TO TURN ON: Double-click the accessibility.blockautorefresh preference to switch it from false to true

Success?

I HATE THE VERSION 56 and the new Option page... I don't find bleep  !

You can get the 'old Options' back (for now) :

Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and look for the preference : browser.preferences.useOldOrganization and set its value to true

more options

Note that the above mentioned preference (browser.preferences.useOldOrganization) only works in Firefox 56 and can be used in case of issues with the new design. In Firefox 57 you can't use this and best is to get used to the new design.

Note that you can use the search bar on the about:preferences page to filter specific settings.
