Is there a way to delete Firefox completely from Windows 10?
Is there a way I can remove all Firefox information?
I uninstalled Firefox. I deleted the file folder in C:\. I emptied the trash. I restarted my computer. I downloaded a new copy. But it keeps installing with the old profile info, even if its not signed in.
I can't see why I can't remove everything and have a fresh install. This should be built into the browser. Delete all profile info, bookmarks, etc. And then it should be gone.
Also, it seems like Firefox is automatically importing the bookmarks from my Old Chrome profile. That was the 1st google Account I had, and the original one I signed into after installing Chrome, which I no longer use. Now it seems like its automatically choosing that profile.
In the install package, there should be a clean install option with no import of bookmarks. A simple checkbox would suffice.
Does anyone know if there is a simple way to have a fresh install?
Thanks

Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;
Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.
If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar.
How many profiles are listed?
How many should be there?
Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox profile folder.
Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>
Location used for the disk cache and other temporary files (Local Directory on about:profiles).
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>
"AppData" (XP: Application Data; Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.
Great, info from both of you! Thanks!
