Firefox crashes right as I try to start it. I had to restore my system and I believe some files are missing from firefox because I can't uninstall it to get a new download either. Firefox doesn't even start to load it crashes immediately. When I restored my system back a week everything worked fine except for firefox. I have tried opening in safe mode and still nothing. Also My uninstall on my vista wont work to get rid of it. This is why i believe it may be missing files

When I try to delete the program files it says I need permission to access these files. I am the administrator. I also tried making sure my hidden files were viewable by going to windows explorer and making all files viewable and still get the need permission window.

Thanks the edmeister...I hadn't tried to redownload it, because I was trying to delete it first. so I redownloaded it without deleting, it worked and I'm in good shape now... Again thanks for the response. I feel stupid now.
