I am unable to send email messages on Thunderbird. This problem just began about a week ago. Is there a fix? When I try to send a message, this comes up: "Sending of the message failed."

"The message could not be sent because connecting to the Outgoing server (SMTP) 587 failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."

It seems like a lot of Thunderbird users are having the same problem. Lee Peterson

Maybe if you post a screenshot of the SMTP server settings, someone here will have suggestions.
