How do I contact Mozilla customer support? The volunteers never actually answer questions completely. I need verified instructions from Mozilla employees. Why tech companies rely on volunteers with no company loyalty is amazing. I'm not having iPad issues, I'm having Mozilla support issues.

Mozilla does not have the resources to provide the call centres that would be required to do one on one support by email, phone or chat for the Firefox web browsers for desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile versions (for iOS and Android) even if only provided in North America and not globally. It is generally products that you paid for fully or by subscriptions that you may be able to get one on one support, like say some antivirus software for example.

Also "customer" implies you paid for to use the Firefox web browsers when they are 100% free to install and use. You can even build Firefox from source yourself for desktop and Android.

None of the of companies that make web browsers have direct support, except perhaps for Enterprise users who pay for it.

The Mozilla products Mozilla VPN, Firefox Private Network, Firefox Relay Premium, MDN Plus, Hubs, Mozilla Monitor Plus on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new does use a direct ticket system as they are subscription based and are not meant for Firefox web browser support.

Apple iOS has been in use for decades so how is it Mozilla cannot hire people who actually know how iOS works???

iOS has only existed since June 29, 2007 as perhaps you are thinking of the desktop OS where the Macintosh System Software essentially started back in 1984.

How long have there been ipads and the Apple OS for ipads? But lets not continue this high tech gabfest.

I get your message. I'm an idiot for expecting help with using Firefox. You are a bunch of hobbyists who release software to unsuspecting users.

Thank you

Ed

Hi

I am going to close this thread as it does not appear ho be related to a support issue with Mozilla software such as Firefox.

If you do have a support issue that you would like us to look into, please ask a new question.

Thank you.

As I said the mobile OS iOS (for iPhones and early iPads) has only existed since June 29, 2007 as it was a wikipedia link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS

The iPad has only existed since April 3, 2010 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPad

No you are just being entitled in thinking you should be able to get free one on one support for a free to install and use application. As said, none of the web browsers have one on one support except perhaps for Enterprise users who pay for it. Every browser has a support forum of their own of sorts for their main way of doing support.

btw due to Apple's restrictions, the web browsers on iOS/iPadOS has to basically make use of Safari as the base as Mozilla for example cannot use their own Gecko rendering engine that the desktop and Android Firefox uses.
