After latest upgrade, Firefox crashes on opening, or crashes when I go to the help page. I'm currently searching on Microsoft Explorer. I am using Windows Vista 6.0 service pack 2.

If I open Firefox directly, it crashes and windows says it will go and look for a solution. It will open from a secondary source, say a link from google or an email. However, anytime I go to Firefox Help, it immediately crashes.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

i'm not even able to go into options after right-clicking FF icon on start menu and choosing options; crashes the same with same crash report window. un-installed and re-installed to no avail ...
